After one swindle too many, the miserly Phoney Bone — together with his cousins Fone Bone and Smiley Bone — is chased out of Boneville by an angry mob. After they're separated by a swarm of locusts, each cousin must fend for himself in a vast, weird wilderness. One by one, they arrive in a valley clouded by secrecy and populated by mysterious, terrifying, and incredible creatures. Little do the Bone cousins know, they're in for the adventure of their lives!
